Kausiq is amongst the leading Vocalist, Lyricist and Composer in the present bangla music scenario. He started music at a very early age of 6, initially from father K.D.Chakraborty, then learned from Chandra Sekhar Roy, completed research work on bengali folk music. Presently the vocalist, lyricist of band: PRITHIBI Directed music for quite a few digital films...Helpline , Saare char and others. He gave music and also sung for many telefilms, daily soaps, add jingles, documentaries....Recently he is working on his solo album "Baktigoto".
